Measuring the quality of electricity
It is a special area that is becoming more and more relevant due to the increasing number of installed controlled drives, switching sources, electronic ballasts in lamps - simply all appliances that generate higher harmonics into the network.
- we verify and evaluate the parameters of electricity quality with network analyzers - the content of higher harmonics, the level of harmonic distortion of the network, overvoltage, flicker, voltage asymmetry and other parameters affecting the elements of the distribution system or the reliable operation of production technology
- we evaluate performance parameters, voltages, currents, etc.
- analysis of the existing state with regard to the dimensioning of the elements of the company's distribution system, substations
- evaluation of network parameters according to relevant standards
- preparation of the output report from the measurement, which contains a detailed description of the current state and a proposal for measures
We have several network analyzers at our disposal, so if the situation requires, the analyzers are deployed in different nodes of the distribution system at the same time, thanks to which it is possible to monitor the impact of technology on the network, mutual influence, etc.
We recommend measuring the quality of electricity also in the event of the need to supplement or expand the compensating unit, at the stage of its design, so that the necessary compensating power can be correctly designed and also to verify some parameters of the quality of electricity, which significantly affect the life of components, especially capacitors. Based on the measurement, it is possible to determine whether the installed compensating unit should be unprotected or must be protected with a certain damping.
